While pregnant with my daughter, Ava, my skin began to deteriorate, bringing constant irritation that affected both my confidence and mental wellbeing. It wasn't just about appearance—it was about how I felt in my own body during what should have been a joyful time.
Hormonal imbalance limited my ability to exercise and disrupted my body in ways I never expected, highlighting just how deeply hormones influence our skin. The connection between internal balance and external appearance became impossible to ignore.
In an effort to heal, I removed harsh sprays, shampoos, conditioners, and perfumes—only to realise how toxic many everyday products are and how damaged my skin barrier had become. The products I'd trusted for years were actually working against me.
